Hi All,

Netflix is sending me "Pieces of April" today and I still haven't watched "Sylvia," so those are my Friday night movies for this week if anyone wants to join me.

Miss Ann-Marie has chosen the Old Spaghetti Factory for our next movie group dinner on Tuesday, March 2 at 7:00pm. They don't take reservations and won't seat us until everyone is there-- so don't be late!

Anyone see Pieces of April? I just found out that every song on the soundtrack is written by my idol/secret obsession, Stephin Merritt, of The Magnetic Fields fame.

What a coincidence too, because I’ve been on a “69 Love Songs” binge today. Here is a little bit of information I found about the 3 disc set. I love that man...

"The story has it that Stephin Merritt came up with the idea for "69 Love Songs" while sitting in an elegant midtown Manhattan gay piano bar. He originally planned for it to be a live musical revue, performed with a rotating cast of singers in the plush hotel bars and cabarets of New York City. In fact, at first the concept had been "100 Love Songs", but Merritt soon realized that even at 2 minutes per song, the revue would last over 3 hours without an intermission. The number "69" seemed to be the next appropriate number down from a hundred, especially due to its visual appeal as a graphic design."

These are the ones I have from Netflix-- we could always pick up something else. Dinner will be served at 6:30!

Hey y'all-- anyone up for another Friday night at my place to watch movies? Ann-Marie and I never got to it this past weekend.

I'll make a big pot of vegetarian chili and some cornbread. You bring drinks or dessert to share.

I do think we should plan a road drip to the drive-in to see The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra. Seems like the perfect flick to watch in the car-- we can be loud and throw popcorn at the screen. It's the Supreme Shock Sensation of Our Time!

Can any of our Microsoft crew explain what set this guy off?

I think I am still alive.

Anybody up for "Monster" this weekend?

I am also planning to watch a few videos in my pjs this weekend. I've got "Intolerable Cruelty" and "Sylvia" if anyone is interested in joining me!
